  3. Project-based learning, is a pedagogical method in which students are directed to create an artifact (or artifacts) to present their gained knowledge. Artifacts may include a variety of media such as writings, art, drawings, three-dimensional representations, videos, photography, or technology-based presentations. The basis of PBL lies in the authenticity or real-life application of the research and is considered an alternative to paper-based, rote memorization, teacher-led classrooms.

  9. Project based learning allows student to indulge and experiment on the assigned topic or task . it initiates thinking , analyzing, comparing and coming to a conclusion. appropriate task should be assigned for undertaking a project that matches the learner's efficiency, age, need and time.

When you are designing the project and the essential question that will launch the activities, it is important to remember that many content standards will be addressed. With these standards in mind, devise a plan that will integrate as many subjects as possible into the project.

  15. Project-based learning is a pedagogical strategy in which students produce a product related to a topic.
    The teacher sets the goals for the learner, and then allows the learner to explore the topic and create their project.
    The teacher is a facilitator in this student-centered approach and provides scaffolding and guidance when necessary.

Project कार्य छात्रों को अपने विचारों का आदान प्रदान करने मे सहायक होता है,छात्र डाटा संग्रहण, अवलोकन और उनका विश्लेषण आदि का कार्य करते हैं जिससे उनके अपने अनुभव में वृद्धि होती है। समुह कार्य से छात्र जल्दी सीखते है और उसे पूरी तरह समझते हैं, उनमे परस्पर सह संचालन के गुण में वृद्धि होती है। यह एक सरल एवं सक्रिय प्रक्रिया है

  29. कक्षा कक्ष में परियोजना अर्थात प्रोजेक्ट कार्य के माध्यम से समूह बनाकर जब विद्यार्थियों को किसी विषय पर एक्टिविटी कराई जाती है तब बच्चे एक दूसरे से चर्चा करते हैं ,जानकारी आपस में साझा करते हैं। इससे बच्चों में जागरूकता आती है और वे नवीन खोजों का अन्वेषणो के प्रति उन्मुख होते हैं। परियोजना कार्य विभिन्न प्रकार के उद्देश्यों को प्राप्त करने वाली गतिविधि है। यह समूह वा एकल रूप में भी होती है। प्रोजेक्ट आधारित सीखने के शिक्षण शास्त्री तरीकों से बच्चे अपने ज्ञान को किसी दूसरे के समक्ष प्रकट करने, सोचने, बोलने, लिखने वा चित्रित करने, विचारों का आदान प्रदान करने और निर्णय लेने में सक्षम हो जाते हैं। इन गतिविधियों के माध्यम से छात्र दूसरे को भी सिखा सकते हैं एवं स्वयं भी दूसरों से सीख सकते हैं। परियोजना कार्य सीखने का एक सशक्त एवं सक्रिय तरीका है। क्योंकि इस कार्य में छात्र हमेशा विषय या टॉपिक या टास्क को पूरा करने के लिए प्रयोग करने व परियोजना करने में शामिल रहते हैं। इस कारण भी जल्दी सीखते हैं वह पूरी तरह से समझते है। इस कार्य के माध्यम से छात्रों में ज्ञान के साथ वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण, व्यवहारिक योग्यता विकसित होती है जिससे वे एक प्रयोगात्मक दृष्टिकोण से आज के आधुनिक समाज में जरूरत के अनुसार उत्तर देने में सक्षम होते हैं व रुड़ीवादी धारणाओं से परे अपना विकास करते हैं और वैश्विक संदर्भ में अपने आप को समकक्ष खड़ा पाते हैं।
