Please write and draw your childhood experiences of the rainy season .
Instructions: This activity is for sharing your childhood memories / joy of the rainy season.
You can write your experience based on suggested points as given below; Kind of sounds you remember – sound of rain, rain falling on roof, wind, thundering, of birds, of waterfalls, etc.
Kind of smell of the rainy season that you remember- of vegetation, of wet soil, dampness, of special food during the season, etc. Clothing at that time. Food during the rainy season, songs of the season. Festivals and crops that you remember? Any disease that people thought could affect them during the period? Problems or difficulties faced due to heavy rains. Anything else you like to share?

Light, rhythmic tapping sound on the roof, eolion sound of wind, electrical storm,burble or ripples, earthy smell ,leaves come into leaf at the start of rainy season,fruits like apples, jamuns, litchi, plums ,peaches, pears,etc., Festivals of rainy season are Teej, janmashtami, Onam, ganesh chaturthi,etc., Dengue, Typhoid, Hepatitis, Viral fever are some of the diseases faced during rainy season.

ReplyDeleteवर्षा की आने पर चारों तरफ मिट्टी की संधि खुशबू आने लगती है मेंढक टर टर की आवाज निकालने लगते हैं मेंढक की आवाज सुनकर बच्चे प्रसन्नता से भर जाते हैं वर्षा होने पर धरती हरियाली से भर जाती है किसान अपने खेतों में बीज बोने लगते हैं मजदूर और को भी काम मिल जाता है और सामने से बादल जोर-जोर गरज नहीं लगता है बच्चे डर से घर से नहीं निकलते अधिक वर्षा के कारण नदी एवं नालों में पानी भर जाते हैं जिससे लोगों को एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान जाने में कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता है बरसात के मौसम में गांव में बच्चों को मौसमी बुखार एवं दाद खाज खुजली होने लगते हैं हमारे छत्तीसगढ़ में सावन के महीने में राखी मन हरियाली का त्यौहार धूमधाम से मनाते हैं
ReplyDeleteबरसात में टप-टप ध्वनि करती हुई बारिश की बूंदें चाहे धरती पर गिरें या घर की छत पर बड़ी कर्णप्रिय लगती थीं। परंतु कभी कभी गरजते बादलों के बीच चमकती बिजली मन में भय भी उत्पन्न करती थी। पक्षियों की मधुर ध्वनियां और झरनों का शोर मन को रोमांचित कर देता था।आम के फलों की सुगंध अनायास ही अपनी ओर आकर्षित कर लेती थी।धान व मक्की की फसलों से लहलहाते खेत, जन्माष्टमी का त्यौहार मन में हर्ष उत्पन्न कर देते थे।

ReplyDeleteMy childhood experience of the rainy seasons are we play with Floating paper boats and bottle cap boats in rain water streams, taking bath under rain water, feeling the droplet, playing rain song, sweaming in rivers etc
We enjoy our childhood a golden time of our life never comes again.

पहली बारिश से आने वाली मिट्टी की सौंधी खुशबू बहुत अच्छी लगती थी, और छत्त में जाकर नहाने का मजा ही अलग था। बारिश मुझे बहुत पसंद थी, लेकिन तेज हवाओं, बदलो के गरजने और चमकने से मुझे डर लगता था। हरे- भरे पत्ते खेतो में लगी फसलें मुझे बहुत अच्छी लगती थी। बारिश की पानी में कागज के नाव बहाते थे। और बारिश की मौसम में कभी-कभी सर्दी-खांसी हो जाती थी। अधिक बारिश से बिजली गुल हो जाती थी, विद्यालय भी रेनकोट या छाते की मदद से जाना पड़ता था, तो थोड़ी समस्या होती थी।

ReplyDeleteRaining season is one of the most favorable season as I enjoy the sound of rain, sometimes it increases and some time decreases. I also enjoyed the rain sound on the roof of my village house whose roof is made of slate. This sound is very different and unique in itself.
During the rain I was eagerly waiting for the 'garam garam pakoras' to be prepared by my mother.
I, with my sister and cousins used to take bath in the rain alongside doing cycling in the muddy water.
Rainy days are enjoyed by people of all ages. The kids are probably the most excited. Rainy days bring pleasant weather and uplift the moods of kids. Moreover, it used to give me a chance to step out and play in the rain, jump in the puddles and make paper boats.
ReplyDeleteWhen I think of rainy days, it brings back very special memories for me. One such memory is the closest to my heart that I would like to share.
I remember our Math's teacher scheduled a test for us when it started raining heavily.
I woke up in the morning with the fear of taking the test for which I was not prepared. I prayed to God for the cancellation of the test. As I was getting ready, it started raining heavily. I got dressed up and went to school, and to my surprise, we came to know the school was closed that day due to a rainy day.
I was on top of the world when I came to know about it. I came back home.
India is an agricultural country and Indian agriculture is dependent on monsoon. every year millions of farmers wait for rains for a good harvest .After months of scorching heat people of India get the leaf

ReplyDeleteवर्षा ऋतु अत्यंत ही सुहावना होता है चारों तरफ हरियाली ही हरियाली दिखाई देती है बारिश में भीगने का मजा ही कुछ और होता है हमें वर्षा ऋतु में अचानक चमकने वाले बादल की गड़गड़ाहट से डर भी लगता है मैं बचपन में अत्यधिक बारिश होने पर अपने मोहल्ले के नाली में तथा आंगन में कागज के बने हुए नाव चलाया करता था और हम सब मित्र बारिश के बाद भीनी भीनी खुशबू और पानी के कीचड़ का आनंद लेते थे घर में गरम भजिया भी बनाया जाता था जिससे बरसात के मौसम में खाने का हरी चटनी के साथ अद्भुत आनंद होता था अक्सर बरसात के मौसम में अधिक पानी गिरने से कच्चे छत के स्कूल होने के कारण छुट्टी हो जाया करती थी बरसात के मौसम में अत्यधिक आनंद और उल्लास आता था यह मौसम हम सबके लिए तथा किसानों के लिए बादल की ओर देखने के लिए होता था सचमुच हमने बरसात के मौसम का अत्यधिक आनंद लिया है परंतु अब वैसी बरसात देखने को नहीं मिलती ।वर्षा ऋतु का हमें इंतजार रहता है ।धन्यवाद
When the rains fall on the earth .when the rainy season comes, the smell of fragrance starts coming from the soil. Farmers are happy. The children to to the courtyard to play in the water. The frog starts to make a sound of turr. All animals become happy.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed most snowfall of rainy days. We were playing overflow water of mini dam and river. Float paper boats on overflow water of drainage of pond. Malaria Fever was occurred on rainy days mostly.
ReplyDeleteNature always looks happy in all the seasons. Every season brings new hopes and positive approach to life. In rainy season when it pours down I love to listen jingling/tapping sounds on the roof. The rivers,streams looks full of energy ,vigour and strength. Nature also come alive after long summer.water gives life to earth and all living organisms. The scenic beauty, fragrance of flowers and sweet smell of different foodgrains adds to its beauty.

When it rains I love to cook /eat 'Rogan Josh ,,,' a Kashmiri dish with my family.
I also love to have bath in the rain to feel nature directly.

We celebrate different festivals of rainy season viz.Teej, janmashtami, Onam, ganesh chaturthi,etc.,
Dengue, Typhoid, Hepatitis, Viral fever are some of the diseases faced during rainy season.
It is really a joy for ever',sometime in my nostalgic mood I recall those unforgettable moments in my life with neighborhood friends and family members. We have had lots of fun together during childhood .

Barish hone par kisan bahut khus hote hai ur kheto me nai fasel bone ki tyari kisi tyoharon se k am nahi hoti hai, barish hame Sare bacche bhigte the ur gili mitti me paw ke nidhan banana , bhare panime pani ke bhaw ko lakdi se naliku banana, lakdi ke tukde kagaj ki nae bana use bhana ka mza lena. Barish me kahne me garma garam pakode khana , chaye pina khidki tej barish ko dekhna. Barish me tuohar raksha bandhan, akhadi, gurupirnima, tiza, janmasthami ityadi hote hai. Adhik barish hone per kattche gharo ku nuksan hota hai nadi me pani ka bhaw tej hone par sadak sadhana band ho jate hai anejane me rukawat hoti hai, barish ne hamare school me pani bharne se band ho jate the ur chhuti ho jati thi. Barish hariyal khil uthti hai charo thaf hariyali pani bhare pokar usme medak ka tarrana bhut accha lagata hai.
ReplyDeleteआज भी जब बारिश होती है तब हमें अपना बचपन याद आता है कि कैसे बारिश के दिनों का हम बचपन में आनंद उठाते थे। सुबह जब हम उठते थे तब सूर्य की रोशनी के स्थान पर छाए हुए बादल होते थे । उसी सुहावने मौसम मैं हम तैयार होते थे और स्कूल जाने के लिए ।छाता या रेनकोट पहनकर स्कूल जाते थे। कई बार हम अपने साथियों के साथ पैदल ही छाता लेकर या रेनकोट पहनकर स्कूल की और प्रस्थान करते थे। स्कूल जाते वक्त अचानक से बारिश शुरू हो जाती थी कभी तेज तूफान की वजह से छाता हमारा उल्टा हो जाता था हम भीग जाते थे। तेज बारिश की टप टप आवाज आती थी। अचानक से बिजली भी कड़कने लगती थी। स्कूल जाकर हम छाता बाहर रखते थे ,रेन कोट बाहर उतारते थे। आधे भीगे हुए से जाकर क्लास रूम में हम क्लास अटेंड करते थे थे। कभी-कभी हमें कुछ ठंड भी लगती थी लेकिन उस का मजा ही कुछ और था। बाल कुछ भीग से जाते थे, लेकिन वह भी धीरे से सूख जाते थे। मौसम बड़ा सुहावना सा होता था।जब हम लंच टाइम में स्कूल से बाहर मैदान में निकलते थे, तो हमें मिट्टी की सोंधी खुशबू के साथ विभिन्न प्रकार के कीड़े मकोड़ों के रेंगने का दृश्य दिखाई देता था। कभी कभी बारिश जो है धीरे-धीरे होती थी। छम छम करती हुई बारिश कई बार घर की छतों पर , खप्परो पर पड़ती थी और घर के बाहर तेजी से बहते हुए छड़ छड़ की आवाज करती थी। कभी बारिश रिमझिम रिमझिम होती थी। कभी बारी तड़ तड़ सी होती थी।कभी बारिश धीरे-धीरे टप टप टप टप टिप टिप टिप टिप की आवाज करती होती थी।ऐसी स्थिति में गरम गरम खाना खाना हमें बहुत अच्छा लगता था। हम उसका भी मजा लेते थे। बरसात के मौसम में भीगना भी बहुत अच्छा लगता था।कई बार तेजी से बरसात होती थी तो हम उसी हालत में अपने दोस्तों के साथ घर से बाहर निकल कर भीगते थे और उस का मजा लेते थे । आपस में खूब खुश होते थे जिसके लिए हमें घर में बाद में बीमार होने की आशंका से माता-पिता से डांट भी खानी पड़ती थी।लेकिन पर भी बारिश का मौसम हमें बहुत अच्छा लगता था और आज भी अच्छा लगता है। नजरिया बदल गया है गर्मी से राहत देने के लिए ठंडकता प्रदान करने के लिए किसानों,को जीवन दान देने के लिए यह फसल बोने के समय का एहसास कराता है और लोगों में खुशियों का आभास कराता है।

ReplyDeleteRain reminds me the most about treks, chai-pakodas, the ‘terrifying and soothing at the same time’ property of nature, and the romantic breeze, of course; but I have talked about those things previously. Today, as my life currently revolves around my cute little 2 months old daughter, I have decided to write about my childhood rain memories. I think I did have a gala time with the rains during my childhood, too. Doing what? Here’s my top 5!

One of the first memories I have of ‘fun in the rain’ is of making paper boats and releasing them in nearby gutters, and seeing how many reach the far end! Of course, most boats used to sink soon; and hence used to begin the competition of seeing ‘whose’ boats among the group of budding ship builders floated the most. As I grew older, I learned to make different types of boats: those with anchors, those with a mainsail and a jib, and so on. I loved it – what wasn’t to love? Making them was fun, getting wet while putting them in gutters was ‘adventurous’, and watching my parents clean up the mess left behind was even more fun…hahaha! I guess that is why we stop making boats when we get older – we have to clean our own mess, don’t we!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was child I usually recite a poem which was taught me by my mother that is rain rain go away ...I love this poem so much even today also.
बरसात की मौसम की स्मृति मेरे मस्तिष्क पटल मे अमिट छाप है। बारिश मे आंगन मे गली मे हम उम्र दोस्तों के सांथ भीगना, किचड़ मे उछलना सभी अच्छे से याद है। बारिश मे कृषि कार्य की आरंभ और चारों तरफ प्रकृति की हरी चादर याद है।स्कुल आते जाते बस्ते का भीग जाना भी याद है।

Those were probably one of the sweetest rain memories. You'd splash dirty muddy puddles on each other or on yourself. Playing in the rain for hours, and just having a ball in the rain and mud like pigs.
ReplyDeleteबचपन में बारिश का मौसम सबसे अधिक प्रिय मौसम लगता है । इस मौसम में मेढक के टर्र टर्र की आवाज जो अधेंरे में बहुत तेज सुनाई देती थी वो तेज हवा का चलना आसपास से चीजे उडना । छत से पानी टपकनेे की आवाज वहॉ दौड दौड कर बर्तन रखना पानी गिरने के लिए । चारो ओर की हरियाली मन को मोह लेती थी । स्कूल से भीगते भीगते दोस्तो के साथ घर आना और इस मौसम में गीले हो जाने पर सर्दी बुखार का आना यू तो आम बात हुआ करती थी ।

The Rainy season, the most joyous of them all. Calmness like the summers and cool breeze like the winters. A relaxing time to spend with the loved ones,relishing the scent of showers while sipping in hot tea is the highlight of the day. From peacocks dancing in the rain to jumping in puddles, this season has it all. A rainy season is more greenery around us during this season as flora and fauna thrive. This weather is great for agriculture as it augmentes the traditional and conventional irrigation techniques. However access rainfall, characterized by heavy shower damages crops and sometimes lead to loss of lives.
ReplyDeleteआज भी बारिश हमे बचपन की याद दिलाता है बारिश का मौसम मुझे सबसे ज्यादा अच्छा लगता है, बचपन मे बारिश होने पर सबसे ज्यादा मैं इसलिए खुश होती थी कि मुझे स्कूल जाने से छुट्टी मिल जाएगी पर मम्मी पापा ज़बरदस्ती छाता लेकर स्कूल भेज देते थे। पर स्कूल पहुंच कर बहुत मजा आता था पूरे समय दरवाजे की तरफ हमलोग देखते रहते थे और जैसे ही भोजन अवकाश होता था हम दौड़ के बाहर आते और मिट्टी खाते थे क्योंकि उसकी खुशबू बिना मिट्टी खाए रहने नहीं देती थी और हमलोग मछली पकड़ने के लिए केंचुआ पकडने जाते थे।रात भर मेंढ़क की आवाज सोने नहीं देती थी, घरवालों से छुप कर नदी का बाढ़ देखने जाते थे और बारिश के बाद छुई-मुई के पौधे से खेलना कौन भूल सकता है।

Nature show greenish and young.Rain is cuse of life as Trees and plants create oxygen and takes carbon di oxide.It cools sanitize nature.all dust particles sitting down on earth.
ReplyDeleteAll our friends used to have a lot of fun during the rainy season in childhood. Mixing the melody of your song to the sound of raindrops. When the lightning flashed the clouds were thundering, some friends were afraid and some shouted. When birds used to chirp, it was very pleasant.
ReplyDeleteबारिश की प्रथम फुहारों के पश्चात् मिट्टी की सोंधी महक मन को प्रसन्नता से भर देती है।बारिश में पूरी प्रकृति आनन्दित दिखायी पड़ती है। पेड़पौधे चिड़िया इनमें नजर डालने पर खुशी से झूमते प्रतीत होते है बारिश प्रकृति की विशाल ता का अनुभव कराती है। . पहली बारिश में बच्चों का अन्दर के बजाय बाहर जाना और खुशी से दौडना कूदना वातावरणको प्रसन्नता से भर देता है।

To conclude, I would say, after rain, the whole environment becomes full of greeneries and it looks clean and beautiful. Every living thing on this earth gets new life by getting the rain water.

ReplyDeleteहमेशा ग्रीष्म ऋतु के पश्चात वर्षा ऋतु आती है । ग्रीष्म ऋतु में गर्मी से तन और मन व्याकुल हो उठता है तथा वर्षा ऋतु का इंतजार रहता है, किंतु वर्तमान समय में ऐसा इंतजार नहीं करना पड़ रहा है।वर्तमान समय में मौसम ग्रीष्म, वर्षा और ठंड तीनों ऋतु के साथ चल रहा है कभी गर्मी तेज रहती है, तत्पश्चात दूसरे दिन वर्षा हो जाती है और ठंड का भी आभास होने लगता है। इसलिए वर्तमान समय के मौसम को सर्व सुविधा संपन्न मौसम भी कह सकते हैं मुझे मेरे बचपन मे वर्षा ऋतु के इंतजार रहने के कुछ अनोखे पल याद हैं। हम गर्मी से व्याकुल रहा करते थे शरीर में घमौरियां हो जाया करती थी, जब बारिश की हल्की बूंदे पढ़ती थी तो हम अपने ऊपरी वस्त्र निकाल कर उस में भीगने का आनंद लेते थे, ऐसा इसलिए भी करते थे क्योंकि हमारी दादी मां कहा करती थी कि वर्षा की पहली पानी से घमोरियां चली जाती है और हम वैसा ही किया करते थे। मेरा बचपन ग्रामीण परिवेश में व्यतीत हुआ है अतः बारिश के पानी में खेलने का मजा मुझे बहुत मिला है, बारिश होती थी तो गली में प्रवाहित होने वाली जलधारा में हम कागज के नाव चलाया करते थे।कभी-कभी मेड़ बनाकर उसमें पाइप लगाकर पानी के गिरने का आनंद लेते थे। इसी प्रकार की कई सुहाने पल बचपन के हैं जिन्हें अंकित करना अधिक होगा। धन्यवाद।

Rainy season gives new life to everyone on this earth like plants, trees, grasses, animals, birds, human being, etc. All the living things enjoy the rainy season by getting wet into the rain water.
I generally in my childhood used to go to the courtyard to get wet in the rain water. I and my sister used to play, dance and sing songs in the rain water. My grandmother used to tell us stories and poems on the rain and rainy season which we enjoy a lot.

ReplyDeleteRainy season gives new life to everyone on this earth like plants, trees, grasses, animals, birds, human being, etc. All the living things enjoy the rainy season by getting wet into the rain water.
I normally in my babyhood used to go to the courtyard to get wet in the rain water. After rain, the whole environment becomes full of greeneries and it looks clean and beautiful.

Childhood is the most fun and memorable time in anyone's life. It's the first stage of life which we enjoy in whatever way we like. Besides, this is the time that shapes up the future. The parents love and care for their children and the children to the same too.
ReplyDeleteMy childhood experience of the rainy seasons are we play with Floating paper boats and bottle cap boats in rain water streams, taking bath under rain water, feeling the droplet, playing rain song, sweaming in rivers etc
We enjoy our childhood a golden time of our life never comes again.
When I was child , I like rain, we used to play football in rain , we really enjoyed that moment but I scared of thunder ⛈️ and lightning.
